I'll share my favorite moment with you guys.

My first solo flight.

It was very unexpected and unforgettable.

The day of my solo flight, my flight instructor and I had basic briefing. He never told me when I'll be flying solo. I asked him "When I'll be flying solo" and his answer was, "Soon". That was the day prior my solo.
So, I hopped on a beautiful plane N97019 and started preflight and did some 3 landings on KMFE.
Once the landings where done, my flight instructor said to park the airplane at the ramp and I turned off the engine. Trying to get out and have debriefing. When I opened the door, he said "What are you doing? Go and fly! this is your first solo!" I replied "Are you dead serious?!". I rev up 019's Lycomming engine and started to taxi under watchful eye of my flight instructor. KMFE tower guys were very nice with first solo fights and words of congratulations poured in. I was singing "I believe I can fly" all the way when aircraft lifted to blue skies. Unforgettable moment. Made one traffic pattern and landed as the winds picked up badly. So! yeah! my first solo ended my flight instructor taking pictures of me and signing my logbook.

Very very unforgettable moment. Everytime I read this endorsement, It brings me back good memories of my first solo and still to this day, I feel that I'm walking towards my dream. It is very memorable. =)

Well! thanks for reading and if you guys are interested how my day is going?
* I just woke up. 8:30AM in Mountain Std Time, and slowly getting ready to start a new day.

My solo too was unexpected.  My flight instructor and I were doing a few touch and goes. He just had me stop on the runway and he hopped out and told me to do three circuits and return to the ramp.  It was awesome!  Huge difference in the climb rate on the old C152.  I couldn't believe I was flying by myself.

When I made my last landing, I taxied back to the ramp, shutdown, filled out the planes logbook, and walked into the terminal building.  He told me congratulations and had me turn around.  He grabbed my shirttail and when I asked him "What are you doing?", he just told me to hold still.  He cut pretty much the whole back out of my shirt.  This was the first time I had heard of the tradition of instructors cutting the shirttails off of students that did their first solo.  I framed it and is on my wall as I wright it.  I will never forget my first solo.
